We have many years of experience in taking care of birds. Our love of birds has brought us to caring for and educating others about keeping a backyard flock. We both are Master Gardeners, grow our own food for our families, and believe in living a sustainable lifestyle. 

We offer advice for folks just starting out in the world of chickens.  We can come to your home for a consultation.  We offer chicken sitting, chicken-related services and teach classes.  You won’t have to worry when you go on vacation who will take care of your birds.  Allow us to help. 

Chicken Services:
Feel confident while you are on vacation leaving your birds to our care. We offer chicken sitting services as well as other small animals (just ask).  Know you can count on us during inclement weather, emergency situations and for special needs birds. We are experienced professionals.

Chicken Sitting:     $15 (one visit/day) or $25 (two visits/day)**
Wing Clipping        $25
Beak trimming       $25 (cross beak birds only)

*Please note that there is a 48 hour cancellation policy.  If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice you will lose your deposit.  
**Deposit is due upon initial meeting.  (The deposit is half of the total price for sitting. Balance due upon first sitting.) 

Chicken Consultations:
Consults for coop setup:                $60 an hour ($60 minimum)
Consults for business:                   $125 an hour ($125 minimum)
Phone consult for 
   diagnosing problem/behavior:   $1 per minute
